Wally Mott
Director / Founder
Energetic, passionate and humble, Wally is one of the Crystal Group’s original forefathers and continues to be a driving force in the business today. Lifting up and inspiring all those around him, Wally thrives when he is elevating teams with his optimism and driving business strategy with a vision grounded in 40 years’ property development experience.
An esteemed adviser to our current leadership team, Wally is no stranger to rolling up his sleeves and giving back to both the people around him and the wider community. Wally was instrumental in the forming of the Wallan Community Bank and went on to donate $3.86m to local community groups and projects. He also has a hands-on role at the local show – where he enthusiastically lends his tractor, mower and fuel to maintain the Whittlesea showgrounds, and volunteers his time to manage the much-loved Boot throwing event. He is a life member of the Whittlesea Agricultural society.
Lisa Belokozovski
Co-CEO
The pursuit of sustainability, design excellence and renewable energy drives Lisa Belokozovski. With rich experience across the commercial, retail and residential sectors, Lisa has been at the forefront of development projects for more than 24 years.
Her visionary approach and belief in Biophilic design principles sets new standards for the future of Australia’s greenfield residents. A passion for exceptional retail design, combined with commercial marketing expertise has seen Lisa manage major landmark properties and their tranformations across Victoria. Lisa is passionate about sustainability, overseeing the Crystal Group’s installation of 99kw solar panels at Wellington Square Shopping Centre and our joint venture microgrid site in Burnie Tasmania.
Celina Mott
Co-CEO
Celina Mott (B Eng Civil), brings her 17 years’ technical experience in engineering, financial viability and new ventures to the co-helm of the Crystal Group.
Industrial, retail and greenfield development expertise across Victoria and Tasmania, paired with a passion for embedded geothermal, puts Celina in a unique position to lead the Crystal Group with future-focused vision.
With an extensive background working with multiple authorities, and more than 10 years overseeing the Crystal Group’s newspaper business and leading a team of more than 30, Celina’s belief in steering change continues with her work on the 16 Days of Activism Committee, where she aims to put a spotlight on equality and respect for women in the Mitchell & Murundindi Shire.
Our History
Where it all began.
When it comes to building stronger communities, we put our money where our mouth is. We’re proud to shape the regions we operate in for the better. This passion has grown from our early days constructing the Wallan library as part of the Wellington Square Shopping Centre development, where we contributed 10-years free rent and a second term of 10-years at 50% rental, as well as $40,000 to help stock the library with books for the local community to enjoy.
Advocating for community continues to drive us, including a $70,000 contribution to constructing opposition change rooms at the Greenhill Reserve, and building and selling the Wellington Street Kindergarten at $100,000 under cost to the Mitchell Shire Council.
Today, our belief in people-first is stronger than ever driven by the leadership of sisters, Lisa Belokozovski and Celina Mott. Drawing from their experience and backed by a team of industry leaders, their vision will deliver a new benchmark in thoughtfully planned resident-focused communities.
